TREKKING TO PANCHASE...COMEON.........
Suffocation and I could hardly move my feet. All the others were suffering too. So Ram Dai stood up to maintain his easy posture. It was actually a 4WD (Four wheel Drive vehicle, Jeep) in which we were taking a trip to Panchase, a junction of Kaski, Parvat and Syangja district in mid Nepal.
The Day was Dec 8, 2007 and we were destined for Bhadaure, some 2 hours drive from Hari Prasad Chowk of Pokhara. Adjustment in the jeep was too tense and the rough terrain drive after leaving the Bhupi Serchan Highway was very adventurous. Soon we arrived Bhadaure during dawn and made our night stay there.
Taking some snacks including dried meat and local radish, we strolled around the streets in this village and watched the dances performed by the local teenagers. It was actually a rehearsal for the upcoming Bhadaure Festival in their village.

डेटिङ प्वाइन्ट
Nirajan र Nishaको प्रेम फक्रिएको पनि एक वर्षवितिसकेको छ । उनिहरु दुवै जना आजभोलि डेटिङका लागि सराङकोट पुग्ने गर्छन् । मुसुक्क्क मुस्कुराएको सेतो हिमाल हेदै उनिहरु मायाको भिन्नै संसारमा रमाइरहेका हुन्छन् । अहिले उनिहरु जस्तै युगल जोडीहरु यसरी नै नया र एकान्त स्थल खोज्दै हिडछन् । डेटिङका लागि पोखराको लभ्ली हिल, सराङकोट, लेकर्साईड पारीको डाडो पामे उपयुक्त मानिन्छ । यी ठाउँमा प्रेमका जोडीहरु प्रेमालाप र रोमान्समा मस्त भएका भेटिन्छन् ।
समयको अप्रत्यासित परिवर्तन संगै अहिले आएर मायाप्रेमले ठुलो महत्व पाउदै गएको छ । भर्खर प्रेममा वाँधिन लागेका जोडीहरु हन् या प्रेमलाई साकार रुपमा वनाइसकेका जोडीहरु नै किन नहुन उनिहरुलाई एकान्त र मनमोहक वातारण नै चाहिन्छ । त्यही भएर त डेटिङका लागि उनिहरु यस्तै स्थानहरुको खोजी गदै हिडने गरेका छन् । तर आजभोलि डेटिङ जान प्रेमी प्रेमीका मात्र हुनु पदैन । मन मिलेपछि जो संग पनि जाने चलन व्यापक रुपमा चलेको छ । आफनो नाम छिपाउदै एक तन्नेरीले भने- म त मन मिलेपछि जो संग पनि डेटिङमा जान्छु ।
यस्तो ठाउँमा कसैले देख्छ भन्ने डर त्रास केही हुदैन । दिल फुकाएर एक अर्काको भावना साटन पाईन्छ । एकान्त र रमाइलो वातावरणमा प्रेमका कुरा गर्न पाउदा युवायुवतिहरु मख्ख हुन्छन् । यस्तो वेला प्रेमजोडीले नूतन अनुभूति गर्छन् । आफुले आफुलाई भुल्ने गर्छन् । संसार नै विर्सिएको अनुभव गर्छन् । 'सुन्दर र एकान्त स्थल डेटिङका लागि उपयुक्त हुने गरेको छ डेटिङ विनाको प्रेम सफल पनि हुन सक्दैन । अहिले प्रेमका पुजारीहरुलाई डेटिङ जानु अनिवार्य भएको छ । वाध्यता नभएर अनिवार्य भएको छ उनिहरुलाई ।

POKHRELI ARTIST
ishan ''pari'' currently lives and works at kathmandu . He is originally from Pokhara and studying in lalitkala campus. After taking basic training of water color from a senior artist in Pokhara. He has been enjoying the artwork here in kathmandu. Here we have presented the excerpt of his interview.

#Did you take any special training about artwork besides that you took with senior artist ?
I was very fond of painting since my childhood. After I took basic training my skill was already sharpened. After this as I arrived here kathmandu, I came in touch with senior artist in 2005 and learnt about painting till 2006. Since then I am linked with each other and I have participated every exhibition held by art association.
#Have you organized any art exhibition?
-Yes, I had come up with a solo exhibition in 2006 at pokhara. I include all type of my paintings in exhibitions but to maintain the theme at one time, I some time includes portrait and next time landscapes however sometimes both.
#Have you received any prize during your participation in art exhibitions?
Yes I have in 2008, kathmandu. and recently i have got first prize of kathmanduwide inter college art competetion organized by free student union.
#How much does your painting cost?
Price for my paints depends on size and work. Till now my paintings have been sold between 5 to 10000. At present I hold teach in school but I do my paintings in my leisure times or in weekends.
#What kind of paintings do you prefer to paint especially?
I paint both portraits and landscapes with water color which basically reflects Nepali culture and Mountains. I have not engaged myself professionally on paintings and I am satisfied with my work. I always like to paint Nepali mountains and faces that represent the Nepali culture and beautiful Nepal. This way, I feel it will help to promote the tourism in Nepal directly or indirectly.
